COVID briefing and return to workplaces   info
Update on Prospect and other unions meeting with the Cabinet Office on 20 January 2022 to discuss the implications of the UK Government's announcement on Wednesday (19 January) with regard to Covid for staff working in the civil service and wider public sector in England. Different arrangements apply in the devolved nations. The discussion was productive and there was significant common ground.

The Cabinet Office have published a public consultation on amendments to the scheme regulations to implement the prospective remedy for age discrimination identified by McCloud, and to roll over member contribution rates to 2022/23. The Home Office have also begun consulting on amendments to the Firefighter pension scheme. All departments will be publishing consultations for their respective schemes shortly.
