London Energy
London Energy Ltd (formerly London Waste, and officially London Energy EcoPark) is a Waste to Energy Power Station, operating as a private company owned by seven local London boroughs (the North London Waste Authority). It uses those boroughs waste that would be sent to landfill as fuel to generate electricity which is exported to the National Grid. It also operates Recycling and Compost Production Facilities, with Transfer Stations in the various London Boroughs.
The site is now known as ‘London Energy Eco-Park’, and is based in Edmonton, North London.
