Uniper

Uniper is one of the UK's leading energy companies, generating electricity for homes and businesses to millions of people across the country. It is part of the Uniper Group, an international energy company which generates energy, provides storage and transportation for energy, provides technical expertise in energy and also trades and markets in energy.

In 2015 E.ON announced that they would be separating conventional energy from customer service, renewables and distribution and they would form the new company, Uniper.

Their main office sites are in Birmingham and the Nottingham area.

Prospect is the largest trade union in the company in the UK and has several hundred members employed Uniper where we represent engineering, technical and managerial staff as well as professionals in technology, trading and the support functions.

Prospect and our representatives engage extensively with the business in negotiations and consultation in addition to providing professional advice and representation to members on an individual basis.
