Prospect AWE Branch
Prospect AWE Branch represents a large number of professional members at AWE, such as scientists, engineers and administrative staff. The Branch Council represents members at local and regional levels and sit on the joint union/company forums, meetings with the business resilience group and several high-level executive meetings as well as sitting on the NEC and TUC committees. It negotiates pay agreements, conditions of service, and policy changes. During the next round of changes at AWE, Prospect AWE Branch will be pushing for the best outcome for its members and the company as a whole.
We also represent individual members who are having difficulties at work; we will represent members at all levels of cases, from grading appeals to tribunals.
Prospect is not affiliated to any political party and as such will campaign on issues, such as the gender gap, science funding or environmental issues, with the members at their forefront.
