Prospect Scottish & Southern Energy

Welcome to the Scottish & Southern Energy branch website

Prospect is a union with more than 140,000 members in the public and private sectors - engineers, scientists, managers and specialists - and is the largest union in the UK representing professional engineers. Its members work in areas as diverse as energy, agriculture, defence, environment, heritage, broadcasting, industry, law and order, shipbuilding and transport.

The Scottish & Southern Energy branch has more than 1000 members. We represent staff in supervisory, engineering and managerial posts throughout the Scottish & Southern Energy group. There is a network of branch representatives across our area, with full-time Prospect Negotiators and Organisers based in the union's Edinburgh, Chertsey, Rotherham and Bristol offices.
