Research shows that workers are twice as likely to be injured in a non-union workplace.

Workplaces with trade union safety representatives and joint health and safety committees have significantly better accident records, with over 50% fewer injuries than those workplaces with no such arrangements. Union appointed safety representatives make a vital contribution towards achieving safer and healthier workplaces.

Your Branch members are always  working with the National Trust dealing with a number of H&S issues.
